What is (E2E) EUCDEX.Ai CONFERENCE?

The Experts 2 Experts EUCDEX.Ai conference (formerly known as E2EVC/ E2EMVC / PubForum) is a global series of non-commercial events within the end user computing community. Our primary objective is to convene top server based computing, virtualization, cloud, onprem and end user computing experts for knowledge exchange and networking. EUCDEX.Ai offers a packed weekend featuring presentations, Master Classes, and discussions led by virtualization vendors' product teams and independent industry experts.

After hosting over 60 successful events, commencing in August 2003 with just 4 participants, E2EMVC has evolved into a renowned event with approximately 200 attendees from over 25 countries. Over the past two decades, our conferences have been held in various cities worldwide, including Athens, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Cape Town, Frankfurt, Dublin, Orlando, Paris, Prague, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Madrid, Montreal, Munich, New York, Nice, Lisbon, Rome, Hamburg, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, and Vienna. Each event typically features 40 - 50 sessions covering server, application, desktop, and storage virtualization, showcasing products from industry leaders such as Microsoft, Parallels, VMware, Citrix, and others.

More than 50 virtualization experts from the community share their insights on the industry's current landscape. Many prominent figures in the virtualization sector have participated in our events in the past or continue to do so. The success of this event is attributed to the attendees, presenters, and sponsors who contribute to its success.

Citrix shipped a lot into CVAD and DaaS this year. Twelve months of it, pulled into one session, with ship dates and minimum versions on the slides so you can tell straight away whether something applies to the release you are on. Neil has spent more than 20 years convincing large organisations that desktops do not necessarily need to live under desks. He has worked with Citrix since the WinFrame and MetaFrame days, which makes him old enough to remember when “the cloud” was mainly a weather-related availability risk.

A ex-Citrix Technology Professional since 2013 and a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect, and more recently a Microsoft MVP, Neil has accumulated enough acronyms to make a network diagram look concise. He has contributed to Citrix certification exams, delivered large XenApp environments, and has strong opinions on virtualisation, EUC, cloud platforms, automation, and why “it worked in test” is not an operational strategy.

Neil now works across Microsoft, Azure, Windows 365, VDI, infrastructure, automation, containers, AI tooling and whatever other technology someone has bought before asking how it integrates. Most enterprise workflows run on desktop applications that lack modern APIs, putting them out of reach of AI automation. EUC for the Agentic Enterprise - The Workspace as a Secure Execution Layer for Agentic AI (intro)

Enterprises spent years and significant capital building sophisticated EUC and VDI estates. As remote-work patterns normalized, SaaS adoption accelerated, renewal pressures increased, and alternative application and desktop delivery models matured, many organizations began to reassess the long-term strategic role of those environments.

Agentic AI should force organizations to reassess the value of their existing EUC platforms and the role those platforms can play in the controlled integration of autonomous agents into the enterprise.

This does not remove the need to modernize authentication, migrate appropriate services out of legacy data centers, improve data governance, or address technical debt. In fact, agentic AI makes those modernization efforts more important. But many of the architectural and operational principles required to run EUC well controlled execution, identity-based access, application entitlement, isolation, policy enforcement, observability, lifecycle management, and operational accountability closely resemble the disciplines enterprises will need when introducing autonomous software.

At the same time, the EUC ecosystem itself is evolving. Agent identities, managed execution environments, Conditional Access for agents, MCP gateways, Cloud PCs for agents, and AI-specific policy controls are beginning to blur the line between the traditional user workspace and a governed execution environment for software actors.
